Award Process
All FMHS awards for are reviewed, negotiated and signed by the Research Support Centre (RSC) prior to submission to the Research Innovation and Industrialization Office in accordance with our institutional policies to ensure that the terms are acceptable to our institution and in compliance with our institution’s policies and procedures. Submit to the RSC the award documents including the submitted grant application documents. The RSC will also assist with all Due Diligence processes. All awards will be submitted to the Vice Chancellor for final approval and signing. The awards may be first signed by our institution (partially executed), then returned to the funder for signing (fully executed) or they can be vice versa. Only fully executed awards by both parties will be legally binding. Once the award is signed documentation is sent to the Finance Unit for Account setting up.
